Interesting Facts About Our New
FaithWeaver Sunday School Curriculum

(Note: We are paraphrasing from the faithweaver.com website in the information provided below.)

Stronger families make stronger churches.
We are committed to letting Sunday school support our families as the primary setting for spiritual growth. With FaithWeaver®, all ages study and experience the same Scripture in creative ways in separate age-appropriate classes. FaithWeaver equips families to talk about and apply their faith together every day.

The program will get families talking about their faith.
Ever notice? People talk about what’s important to them. FaithWeaver® gets every member of the family talking about – and applying the Bible Point to life. How? By having all ages explore the same Bible Point in separate classes, families are on common ground when they talk about and live out their faith.
What Teachers Are Saying about FaithWeaver®:
"The real strength of the FaithWeaver program is its integration. I love the fact that every grade level is learning the same story and the same Bible verse, and that the Kids' Church lesson ties in with the Sunday School lesson. I also appreciate FaithWeaver's systematic walk through the Bible. I think it is important for children to have a sense of the Bible (especially the Old Testament) as a history of God's people, not as a collection of isolated stories."  ~Children’s Teacher, CT

"We have found in our church that FaithWeaver really builds families. For the first time, everybody in the family is learning the same text at the same time. When you are driving home from church, all talking about the same Bible story, it really builds that family unit. It makes a big difference." ~ Susan W, PA

FaithWeaver® classes are currently being offered to young adults (Alexis Whray, chapel), teens (Tom & Caroline McGee, teen room next to ESP class), middle and elementary school (Dena Gillespie, art room), babes through 6 years old (Cindy Marshall, Little Lambs classrooms) and Children’s Church (Misti and Nathan Edwards, chapel).

Teachers/Facilitators: Please note that the CHIRP calendar will reflect a code (i.e., FW3, FW4, FW5, etc.) that will help keep us on track for the correct week number to be preparing for your class. Contact Alexis at 967-1620 for details or more information.
